"¿Hunting them?" Danyz asked reflexively.
Once he fully understood the meaning of Gehrman Sparrow's words, his excitement grew. He changed his posture and in a low voice said:
—"Is there anything I can help with?"
As a qualified part-time pirate, nothing good like kindness, compassion, or benevolence was associated with him. Since he almost died at the hands of "Steel" McVity, and now had the chance to get revenge, he certainly didn't want to miss it!
He believed his survival in the pirate world depended on accurately judging situations: knowing when to resist, when to fight tooth and nail, when to pretend not to see enemies, and when to settle old scores.
Now was the opportunity!
Danyz didn't dare make an accurate judgment about how powerful Gehrman Sparrow was. However, from the fact that he had resolved Fallen Bishop Miller in just ten seconds, dealing with "Steel" McVity wouldn't be too difficult. Even facing the Blood Admiral Seniior, there might still be a chance to win.
Of course, this referred only to one-on-one situations; pirates never respected chivalry... Danyz thought deeply about it.
Cleane leaned forward slightly, his elbows on his knees, and clasped his hands together. "I've said it before."
"What?" Danyz felt he often couldn't keep up with Gehrman Sparrow's train of thought. He consoled himself by thinking that normal people and madmen were different.
Seeing no further response, he carefully thought about what to do next: write down the Blood Admiral Seniior and his crew's deeds!
Hmm... Gehrman Sparrow must want to know how much they had plundered... Danyz quickly figured out his thoughts, grabbed a pen and paper from the room, and scribbled furiously.
He was especially grateful that it was his left arm he injured.
When he finished writing, Cleane took the papers with an extended hand. He read them carefully and confirmed from parts where Danyz didn't detail much that Seniior and his crew were indeed the most typical and vicious pirates, not just plundering wealth but also abducting people, massacring sailors, and tormenting women.
Danyz, a pirate who knew how to write Guversac, must have received some education... Cleane thought. He pulled out a copper penny and used divination to verify the authenticity of the materials.
Then he said in the tone of instructing what to eat the next morning:
—"Tell me about Seniior and his men."
Detailed information... is it for hunting them? Danyz's heart leaped with joy, wishing he knew more: "Admiral Seniior is rumored to be an evil spirit. Anyone who faces him ends up mysteriously dead—hanging themselves, shooting themselves, embracing bombs, or massacring their comrades. Our captain says this is due to an evil spirit possessing them."
It sounds a lot like Miss Sharon's extraordinary ability... "Haunted Spirit"? Cleane said nothing and listened silently as Danyz continued.
"Admiral Seniior can emit terrifying screams. The last time we fought, I almost passed out from the noise, falling overboard from the deck. Hehe, I set fire to one of their ships in retaliation."
"He knows a lot of necromancy spells, is cruel and bloodthirsty, has strong desires, and his targets are men, women, or even humanoid creatures," Danye said.
It fits the Rose Order's indulgent characteristics; indeed, it’s more specifically about the "Prisoner" Path... Cleane nodded thoughtfully.
With a response from Danyz, he became more proactive, speaking faster: "Our captain believes Admiral Seniior has an extremely powerful magical item that makes him very lucky and favored by deities. For instance, his opponents might slip or their abilities could fail at critical moments—like winning 21 bets in a row."
A magical item that brings luck? That's quite rare... Could it be from the "Monster" Path or connected to some demonic entity? Cleane guessed based on his knowledge of arcane studies.
"I've never fought Admiral Seniior directly, only hearing what our captain said," Danyz wanted to shrug but was stopped by the pain in his left arm. "He commands around seven or eight ships. The flagship is called 'The Flesh Tree.' Hehe, this is different from us; we mainly chase treasure and don't indiscriminately recruit, with only one ship named 'Dream of Gold.'"
